After a late start Mom’s Connection is off and running! We have scheduled our get togethers through next May and all moms are invited to come and be a part of this great group! We meet the second Friday of each month (unless otherwise noted) beginning with food and fellowship at 10:00 a.m. in the Blue Room. Childcare is provided by reservation to Jenny Bopp. We have some exciting programs planned as well as some mission opportunities to participate in. Some months we will be doing some craft projects as well.
On February 10 and 10:00 am, we will host Rev. Bob Money as he presents, “Strengthening Our Family Bonds,” the second in a monthly series of speakers for Moms Connection.
Moms have a lot of people to love, from their children to their husbands, but that doesn’t mean everything is perfect. So, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Rev. Money will be sharing real-world ideas for building strong relationships within the family. As the former counseling minister at First Baptist, Rev. Money has more than 30 years of experience with marriage and family counseling.
There is no charge for the event, but participants are asked to bring a breakfast finger food to share. Moms Connection is open to moms throughout the community who want to spend a morning connecting with other women who understand the ups and downs of rearing children. Childcare is provided by reservation to Jenny Bopp at jbopp@fbcknox.org. You are encouraged to come and bring a friend! Watch for more details about this and the rest of our schedule. If you have question about Mom’s Connection contact Holly McGee or Susan Tatum at statum@fbcknox.org.
