This summer, please join us on Wednesdays for The Bridge. Our current series continues through June 20. We will take a short break and resume on July 25. Lunch is $6; line opens at 11:50 AM, Dr. Shiell speaks at 12:15 PM.

Join us as we go through the book When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty Without Hurting the Poor…and Yourself by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert.
Do you ever wonder if efforts to help impact the poor? Does there need to be more investigation into how you give than just good intentions? Books are on sale at the reception desk for $10. Led by Carol McEntyre and Kristen Tekell.
Who Are the Mormons?
Wednesdays, February 8 & 15, 6 PM, Chapel
Join us for an informative study of the roots of the Latter Day Saints (LDS) community. Dr. Shiell will be leading a study February 8 on the early church’s struggles with similar groups in the second century. On February 15, we’ll have a dialogue with:
- David Kitts, World Religions professor at Carson-Newman
- Josh Ault, reporter for WATE-TV 6
- Andrew Smith, professor of church history at Carson-Newman
