Second Harvest

Do you want to do some Mission work without leaving Tennessee?  Do you want some short-term Mission work (two hours or so)?    Here's how!!  Work at the Second Harvest Warehouse ...  your work will give First Baptist Church credit hours for people who need food.

Contact Steve Harrison or James Gregory for details.  Steve collects groups of people to go there at 5:30 PM.   Some people who don't work will go during the daytime. 



New Mexico

Betty McBroom, Jerry Carver, Jr. and Ramona Gregory at First Baptist Church, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Deaf volunteer missionaries and pastors from six states went to New Mexico in March 2012 for evangelism and outreach.   They were split into eight teams who drove 6,200 miles around the state and visited with 456 deaf people in 22 communities.  For more information see this site.

The next trip to New Mexico for the Deaf Hands on Mission is April 6-14, 2013.   Will you go?
