Introducing KIDS CONNECTION – A New Way to do Sunday School!
For Kids grades 1-5
Join us each Sunday morning at 9:45 for KIDS CONNECTION! We have totally transformed the second floor into an exciting, colorful, and awesome area where learning takes place in 5 different workshops each Sunday.
After a Gathering time where kids sing, welcome guests, recognize birthdays, review memory verses , and pray together they travel by grade to a different workshop each week for 5 weeks where they hear the same scripture and Bible lesson presented but in a different style each week. Each group is accompanied by one or more shepherds who are responsible for keeping in contact with kids in their group each week. Workshop leaders review the lesson and then guide the group in the activity that reinforces the lesson.
Workshops include:
Kids Skills, Drills and Thrills
Hands on activities and games are used to involve kids in learning the Bible lesson as well as Bible skills and memory verses.
Reel Kids
Kids enjoy watching a movie that brings home the point of the lesson in a theater- type setting complete with popcorn!
Kids Creation
Kids are allowed to express themselves through art projects designed to remind them of the bible lesson.
Lights! Camera! Kids!
Kids actually get to dress in costume and perform a skit on a real stage! Of course the skit reinforces the bible lesson.
E Kids
Kids love to play computer games and this workshop allows them to do just that only the games go along with the lesson so they learn while they play!
It’s proven that repetition is important to learning but kids DON’T have the same learning style.
KIDS CONNECTION covers all the bases!
