Mission Trip to the Rio Grande Valley

Mark your calendar and make plans to be a part of the mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley on the Texas-Mexico border from April 24 through May 1, 2010. Both the needs and the ministry opportunities are great in this part of the United States.  A construction team will be a central focus of the trip and other ministry options are being explored. Operation InAsMuch

Join us for Operation InAsMuch (OIAM) a one day missions blitz in the community.



OIAM is a day of hands-on service in our community.  This is an event that gives you the chance to choose a project that is meaningful to you.  You can choose between mutilple projects like spreading mulch at South Knoxville Elementary School, or helping with the EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER that will be taking place at one church member's home.  Many projects are designated as family friendly, even for elementary school children, you can sign up to serve together as a family. 
Look for OIAM brochures in the worship bulletin and in Sunday school classrooms to sign-up.
