Passage: Children’s Worship began on Sunday, August 15. Passage takes place during part of the 11:00 service for Kindergarteners and First graders. This is an optional children’s worship experience designed to help transition this age child into adult worship. It involves helping children worship in a special place each week apart from the worshiping congregation so they become able to worship meaningfully with the congregation.
We are using material entitled: Young Children and Worship. Kindergarteners and first graders will continue to be picked up from Sunday School by a parent and accompany them into the 11:00 service. At a given point they will be dismissed to waiting adults that will accompany them to the Kids Connection Hall on the same floor as the sanctuary. This will usually happen after the Children’s Sermon and be listed in the Order of Worship. Parents may pick up their children immediately after the service.
