Thanks for visiting us at FBCKnox.org. First Baptist Church of Knoxville is a historic Baptist congregation located in heart of downtown Knoxville with a rich history of worship, missions, and ministry. Below you’ll find some important information for your visit to the First Baptist Church campus.
You can find us at 510 West Main Street in downtown Knoxville. We’re across the street from the post office, between the City/County Building and Bank of America. Click here to view a map of our location.
Parking is available behind the church on Locust Street and beside the church in the Bank of America garage, accessible by Locust Street and Hill Avenue.
Worship services are held on Sundays at 8:42 am and 11:00 am. The 8:42 service is a blended worship style with a praise band. The 11:00 am worship service is more traditional in style and is televised. Small group Sunday School classes meet on Sundays from 9:45-10:45 am for everyone from 4 to 104 years old.
On Wednesdays, a buffet-style meal is served at 5:00 pm in Trentham Hall (located behind the main sanctuary) for $6.00. A Bible study usually follows the meal.
Activities and events for children and youth are held weekly. Check the Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry pages for more information.
The church nursery is available on Sundays from 8:15 am until the end 11:00 worship for children under 4 years old. On Wednesdays the nursery is available from 5:15 pm until 7:30 pm for children under 2 years old.
