Jesus Is Lord.

We celebrate Jesus and do what He says. There’s never been a name like His and never will be another one like it. His name captures all of the sacrificial love that we want to hold and all that we aspire to become as human beings. He is the reason for our existence as “We help people find and follow Jesus.” (Philippians 2:9-11; Romans 10:19; Romans 14:8-9; Matthew 7:21)

Core Values

√  Every heart aflame. (Worship)

God is worthy of our highest praise, so we bring our best, most passionate worship before the Lord. We give thanks and praise as we enter and then seek to bring glory to God through scripture, songs, and proclamation. We worship with whole hearts because we have been made alive in Christ. (Psalm 100; Luke 19:40)

√  Every person matters. (Community)

Every person has dignity and worth in the kingdom of God. Every person is the object of God’s love. Every person is equal in the eyes of God because God’s love is consistent and comprehensive. And every person is made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; Luke 15:1-32)

√  Every saint a servant. (Mission)

We believe that just as every child of God is a “saint” (holy and set apart for God’s purposes), so too is every child of God a servant. Jesus said of Himself that He didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life for others. Every believer has been given the Holy Spirit with a measure of some gift to be used toward God’s mission. Therefore, there are no spectator Christians. (Matthew 20:28; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Colossians 1:2; Ephesians 4:16)

√  Every neighbor blessed. (Outreach)

God has made each believer a priest, someone called to help others to connect with God in a deep and loving relationship. Jesus said there's nothing more important than loving God with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. We are blessed to be a blessing in practical ways in everyday places. As Jesus was sent by the Father, so now we are sent by Jesus. (John 20:21; Matthew 22:37-39; 1 Peter 2:9; Luke 14:23).

√  Every disciple a disciplemaker. (Discipleship)

Every disciple of Jesus is called to make disciples of others. This means taking up our cross and committing ourselves fully to following in the footsteps of Jesus, learning his ways, and loving the people that he loved. Each of us should be involved in learning the way of Jesus from others, while teaching the way of Jesus to those coming behind us. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 8:34-35; 2 Timothy 2:1-2; John 13:34-34)
