I'm New

Every guest is a sacred gift to the FBC Family. Thanks for connecting with us.

Sunday Services

8:45 am | Contemporary Worship (First Community) | Trentham Hall
11:00 am | Traditional Worship | Sanctuary

You can also watch our 8:45am service on Facebook Live and YouTube and our 11:00 am service on TV (CW20), Facebook Live, and Youtube. Vist the Media Page for more information.

Preschool Childcare

If you need childcare during a service, the preschool is open for babies through Kindergarten. Children in grades 1-5 will attend the service with their parents. For more information on preschool ministries, please contact Susan Tatum ([email protected]).

What to Wear

First Community tends to be more casual, while the 11:00 am Traditional service tends to be more formal. However, both services vary widely from dress clothes to jeans. So come as you are. We will gladly welcome you and make you feel at home.

Parking

If you plan to come to the First Community 8:45am worship service, you can park either in the lower parking lot or in our covered deck parking.

  • For the lower parking lot, follow Locust Street past West Hill Street as if going toward Neyland Drive, then look for the sign to the left to enter our parking lot.
  • For covered deck parking, enter the deck either off of Locust Street or West Hill Street. To come to Trentham Hall from the deck, exit the deck onto West Hill Street then follow the stairs down to the lower parking lot. You can enter Trentham Hall by taking the ramp to the left at the end of the stairs.

If you plan to come to the Traditional 11:00am worship service, the best place to park is in our covered deck. You can enter either from Locust Street or West Hill Street, then park on any level. The Welcome Center is located on the second level. You’ll come through the Welcome Center and then enter the sanctuary on the left.

Some people prefer to park on Main Street (note: spaces are limited) and then enter through the stately columns into our sanctuary.

We hope to see you soon. It’s a gift that you would worship with us as an honored guest.

If you need more information, or would like to tell us about the visit you plan to make, please called Vanessa Moore, Ministry Assistant, at 865-546-9661 (ext. 113) or email [email protected].

Discover First

Getting to know a new church home can be daunting. Discover First is an orientation that meets once a month for new members or those considering membership. Attendees receive information and resources that can help you learn more about our church. New members are encouraged to sign up for Discover First and take advantage of this opportunity to become more connected to the FBC Family. Register by emailing Lorna Hollowell at [email protected]
